Well the “sunshine” state wasn’t so sunny in Florida on Saturday, but it was still a nice showing of Mustang’s and Ford’s for the guys from National Parts Depot at the Silver Springs State Park in Ocala, Florida. The state park is a great setting for a car show and provides a fresh of breath air as far as car show locations go. Instead of walking rows of asphalt parking spots, you get to work your way through the outskirts of the state park. In fact, I wish we would have had more time to explore the park itself, maybe next year. While the car count was down from years past according to the guys at NPD, it was still a fine collection of not only Mustang’s but Ford’s as well. There was also a nice mix of early Mercury Cougar’s on the property. A dozen or so vendor’s added to the mix to make a very enjoyable show. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a somewhat wet January day!
