Lot 006: 1953 Hudson Hornet Convertible

I’m a big Hudson Hornet fan. The classic styling, the Twin H Power, what’s not to love? This car is even cooler being a convertible, you never see any convertible’s left.

Lot 027: 1967 Toyota 2000 GT

Take one look at this and you are probably thinking Ferrari or some other exotic. But on second look, you realize this is a Toyota.

Lot 045: 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Not only is it a split window, not only is it a fuel injected car, but its a Z06. This is a must have for any Corvette collector.

Lot 109: 1956 Chevrolet Corvette SR1 Tribute Car

The SR1, one of the prettiest Corvette race cars ever built. Every one wants to own one, unfortunately, not everyone can own the original. So someone took the time to build a well done tribute car. I have no problem with it, I’d be just as happy to own it!

Lot 120: 1990 Ferrari F40

One of the coolest sports cars of all time, anytime there is an F40 at the auction you cannot pass it up!

Lot 147: 1969 Chevrolet Corvette L88

Just look at it, one of the baddest Corvette’s in any color, let alone black!

Lot 155: 1962 Shelby Cobra

Everyone gets so caught up in the kit Cobra look, the 427’s and the side pipes that you forgot how much of a classic look the early small block Cobra’s had!

Lot 013: 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gull Wing

It’s a Gull Wing, had to make the list!

Lot 127: 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso

I’ll admit, I’m not very educated on my early Ferrari’s, but this thing is an absolute work of art. The styling and design is just out of this world.

Lot 033: 1950 Ferrari 166 MM/195 S Berlinetta Le Mans

Alot of these bigger auctions place what they expect the car to bring on their listings. Usually I try to ignore it so it doesn’t sway my opinion’s on cars. It would be easy for me to pick the top ten most valuable cars and look like I hit a home run. But this list isn’t about that. Its a mix of popular cars with personal taste. But when i see a car listed that is expected to bring five to six million dollars, well it has to go on the list!
