Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Recap: Wednesday

Day two of Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2013 is in the bucks! The prices and quality of cars are quickly rising! First off lets take a look and see how our cars to watch did. If you missed that list you can see it by CLICKING HERE

Lot 358: 1952 Willys CJ3A: $20,350

Lot 366: 1968 Jaguar XKE Series: $24,200- Seemed like a pretty fair price for this car, I love these old Jag’s. I imagine the 6 cylinder hurt the value a good pit on this one.

Lot 328: 1984 Ford Mustang GT: $14,300- Pretty much the price I would have expecting. With only 7100 miles this will make someone a great car.

Lot 454: 1971 Chevrolet Corvett LT1: $35,200- Would have expected a little more out of this car being a rare export. That’s pretty much average price for a common LT1.

Lot 453:  1975 Oldsmobile Hurst W30: $50,600- A predicted in our cars to watch post that these cars were going to come on the money but I had no idea this kind of money. I figured twenty grand at the most. Strong, strong money for this one in my opinion.

Lot 452.1: 1963 Ford F100: $60,500- Really surprised how high this one got being a recreation.

Lot 459: 2011 Toyota Tundra: $38,500- This truck was built by NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer to be auction off at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach last year for charity. The truck brought $100,000 there so whoever got it here got a good deal! Cool truck too!

Lot 497: 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Custom: $55,000- This car had a Mako Shark body kit on it, but wasn’t actually a Baldwin Motion built car, just the body kit. Still a very cool car though and worth the  money. At one point it looked like it was going to stall out and sell in the thirties which would have been a steal!

Lot 498: 1963 Dodge 330: $51,700- Cool car, average price. I love these early Dodges especially with a Max Wedge.

Lot 505: 1946 Ford Truck: $93,500- Wow, this thing brought crazy money! I guess that is a strong statement that old school hot rods are still cool!

Deals Of The Day

Lot 488.1: 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible: $34,100: A fair price for this car if it was just a car. But its a red on red four speed, convertible, Bloomington Gold Certified, Survivor with only 59k miles on it. This one was a deal!

Lot 456: 1955 Chevrolet 210: $38,500 Big block, black, all the goodies you could want.

Lot 494: 1962 Ford Galaxie: $34,100 Rare 406, even rarer special order automatic car. I’m surprised this one didn’t go for more!
