Archives Edition: Mustang Week 2009

Part two of four of our look back at Mustang Week. This is 2009!!

With one year under my belt I was ready to head out as a Mustang Week pro! 2009 would be my first(and last if I can help it!) year of driving a foxbody to the beach. Let me just tell ya, 6 plus hours in a convertible foxbody will make you hate life! But we made it finally with my 91 ‘Vert and 01 Lightning.

’09 was also my first year for coming down on the Saturday before Mustang Week which was great. Gives you a day or two to relax before Mustang Week gets started.

No matter how many Mustang Weeks I go to I will never get over that awe that you get when you roll into the meet and greet on Tuesday and see all those ponies!

You can’t talk about Mustang Week 2009 without mentioning possibly THE greatest moment in Mustang Week history. The Bill Jones Memorial car. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves!

I didn’t shoot alot of pictures on Wednesday in 2009, I mostly hung out by the pool with the Southeastern Foxbodies crew.
